Sell with Us!
If you're anything like us, you probably have a "need to sort out pile" of old kids clothes and toys somewhere in your house. Or maybe you have some things you'd like to sell, but haven't gotten around to posting an advertisment for it, or you're not ready to deal with strangers on the internet, asking questions and ghosting you when sale time comes...
If you have gently used, like new items laying around at home, sell them at our sale! Register with us and we'll send you more details on what we expect and how to get your items ready. There is no fee to register, anyone can sell! If it doesn't sell, collect them back or have them donated with us. Earn some cash for those excess things in your home, and let another family enjoy them!
The Process
Anyone can sell with us. It is $0 to register as a seller, and you can sell as many items as you'd like. If it doesn't sell, you can choose to collect your items or have them donated. Volunteer with us as well to get higher earning return and be the first to shop. A full list of instructions will be emailed to you once registered.
Clean
Get your items ready to go and sell. Clean them, press if required, and get them looking as good as possible. The nicer they look, the more likely someone will buy it!

Tag and Inventory
Once registered, you'll get a unique seller ID and instructions on how to tag your items. You'll also want to keep an inventory record. The tags, inventory sheet, and additional instructions will be emailed to you once registered. You will price and label all of your items, and can choose if you'd like to collect them or donate them if they don't sell. We can help during drop off (next step) if you need it!

Drop
Bring your items to the Kids Preloved Summer Sale at the Edgar Centre anytime between 1pm-9pm on Thurs Nov 28th or 12pm-8pm or Fri Nov 29th before the day of the sale. Please try to allow a little time for your items to be checked. *You must be registered in advance to sell*
Volunteer
We pride ourselves on having an efficient, organised sale- but need lots of helpers! If you'd like to earn higher percentage of your sale and would like to shop before the sale is open to the public, consider volunteering. We need help Thurs-Sun, everything from setting up, sorting, helping at the register or greeting our shoppers. Select you are interested when registering.

Shop
Invite all of your friends and family to come to the sale! Come find some great deals and support other families. Don't forget to bring your own reusable bags! Sat Nov 30 10am-5pm and Sun Dec 1 9am-1pm.
Collect
On Sunday after the sale between 2pm-6pm, come and collect your non-donated items. Anything not collected will be donated to local charities. If you've selected cash option for your sale, you MUST collect your cash at this time. If you selected bank transfer, transfers will be made up to a week after the sale is finished.
Store
Start collecting and saving your items to sell at our WINTER sale, happening March 2025!

What can I sell?

You can sell so many things at our K2 Kids Preloved Winter Sale! As long as they are in good condition, maternity, newborn to teen, you can probably sell it at the sale. It's not only clothes, it's also: shoes, nursery/baby furniture (bassinets, cots, play mats, highchairs, lamps, shelves, desks, wall decor, storage...), prams, toys, books, sporting and outdoor equipment (including bikes, coup cars, trikes, camping equipment, etc...) uniforms, formal dresses, backpacks, packs, and so much more!

While we still sell everything year round, our next sale is our WINTER sale, so featuring your colder-weather items (down jackets, thermals, knitted jearseys, hats and gloves, snow gear, snow suits, winter sleep sacks, etc...). Save your togs, wetsuits, for our K2 Kids Preloved Summer Sale, happening December 2025 (you're welcome to still sell these, however they may not be as popular or sell as quickly.)​​​​
We do have some items we don't accept. The items you sell must be in good/excellent condition. No holes, stains, missing buttons, or broken or missing pieces. Electronic toys/items must be working with batteries included- we need to be able to check they work. Items that we don't accept include mattresses other than cot/bassinet, car seats, electric breast pumps, and recalled items. Check out our list of Not Accepted Items.

Quality
Sell your BEST items for maximum return.

We have high quality, very organised events. Please do not bring items that are stained, worn out, old, smoky, musty or showing animal hair.

Just think when selling- would it be something you would buy?
$3 Minimum
Minimum price: $3 for this sale
​
The VALUE of the item should be at least the indicated minimum amount. If not, bundle several items together. If the quality, value isn’t there, don’t sell it.
How to Bundle? Small items like socks, hats, binkies, bibs, etc can be pinned onto, and sold with an outfit, or bundled together. Several books of the same reading level can be sold as one item by wrapping them in gladwrap or ribbon or putting them in a freezer bag.
Working Order
Nobody wants to purchase something that does not work or is damaged. Confirm that all electronics turn on, all pieces are present, and everything is in good working order. If it doesn’t turn on, doesn’t work or is missing important pieces, do not sell it.
Give me my money!
The fun part- your earnings! It is $0 to register as a seller. You get to keep 70% of your sell price (items are not negotiated and price doesn't change as per what you priced it at). The other 30% goes to K2Consignments for helping run the sale. (Want to earn more? Look into volunteering!).

Your earnings will come via bank transfer the week after the sale is finished. All non-donation items will need to be collected on Sunday, at the sale venue, between 2pm-6pm.

Volunteer
We can't operate without the help of volunteers! Volunteer with us for a 3 hour shift, and you can come shop before the sale is open to the public and get 85% of your sales earned (verses the 70% as a non-volunteer!)

There are lots of roles, and all are so easy and fun! You can help receive sale items, sort and display items, help at check out, watch the sale floor, greet customers and offer customer assistance.
